Have these ready
- A personal or work Microsoft account containing your interview events
- A signed-in Climbora workspace
Open Integrations
From the workspace navigation, choose Integrations and find Outlook Calendar.
Start the connection
Select Connect Outlook Calendar. Microsoft opens its own sign-in page, so Climbora never receives your Microsoft password.
Review the permission
Climbora requests Calendars.ReadBasic, the lowest Microsoft permission that can read event times and titles. It cannot create, edit, or delete events, and it grants no access to Outlook Mail or OneDrive.
Approve for the right account
Choose the account holding your interview schedule. If your employer requires administrator approval, ask your IT administrator to approve the Climbora application, or connect a personal account instead.
Sync interview events
Back in Climbora, select Sync interview events. Climbora reads a bounded upcoming window and keeps entries that look like recruiting, screening, interviews, panels, assessments, or offer conversations.
Review detected events
Each card shows the meeting time and organiser, with separate actions to open the meeting and to view the original Outlook entry.
Disconnect when needed
Select Disconnect to delete the encrypted Microsoft tokens and every Outlook Calendar event Climbora saved for your account.
Tips for a smoother experience
- ✓
Cancelled meetings are filtered out, so a withdrawn interview will not linger in your list.
- ✓
Because Climbora only reads basic event data, a Teams or Zoom link is detected from the meeting field or the location, not from the message body.
- ✓
Outlook Mail and OneDrive are authorised separately; connecting your calendar never grants access to either.
- ✓
You can connect Google and Outlook at the same time. Each calendar keeps its own card, so a meeting invited on both appears under each connection.
